Overview

Metix AI (formerly OpenJobs AI) is the hiring platform of OpenJobs AI Inc. Its recruiter, Mira, searches profiles, sends outreach only after someone on the hiring team approves it, and books interviews.

HireAI files Metix AI in the 2024+ - Agentic AI Platforms era. Agentic AI platforms plan and carry out multi-step talent work, such as sourcing, engagement, and orchestration, with limited human intervention.

The company says this page’s old name, OpenJobs AI, described the market. Metix names the product, from Metis, the Greek idea of practical intelligence. The legal entity remains OpenJobs AI Inc., a Delaware corporation. The company says the team, product, login, and API stayed the same, and that openjobs-ai.com keeps redirecting through 2027.

When to shortlist it

Shortlist Metix AI when a founder or recruiting team wants an AI recruiter to run sourcing through booking, and a person on the team will approve outreach and take the interviews. The company says Mira is not an applicant tracking system and not a self-serve profile database. This page does not rank the product.

What the company says Mira does

Metix’s about page describes four steps. These are company statements, not HireAI tests:

  1. Brief. Someone describes the role. Mira turns it into a structured brief.
  2. Search. Mira reviews what the company states as 860 million-plus profiles.
  3. Engage. Mira drafts candidate messages. The company says every send needs approval.
  4. Book. Mira offers times and confirms interviews on both calendars.

Company-reported commercial terms

Figures below were published on metix.ai/pricing and metix.ai/about on 28 September 2026. Confirm them before you buy. HireAI did not measure them.

Monthly plans, with a 10 percent discount if billed yearly:

Plan Monthly price Credits per month AI Agents Annual total
Starter $99 5,000 1 $1,068
Growth $199 10,500 2 $2,148
Professional $299 16,000 3 $3,228
Scale $499 27,000 5 $5,388

The company says Credits are usage units, not candidates. Outside an AI Agent workflow, a contact unlock costs 10 Credits, a Deep Search list costs 100 Credits, and an extra AI Agent costs 3,000 Credits. Once an Agent is active, its workflow uses 0 Credits. A 14-day trial includes 500 Credits and one AI Agent, with no card. Delivery, where Metix staff run the search, is quoted separately.

The about page says OpenJobs AI Inc. has raised $5.5 million cumulative, described as $3 million from Rsquared and $2.5 million from LongRiver / Fengshion. A 7 July 2026 post by Kin Fu says the latest round was $3 million led by Rsquared. A 24 July 2026 post announces a partnership with Deel covering hiring across 130-plus countries.

Evaluation Guide

This section is a structured checklist based on the directory tags and era. It does not assume features—use it to verify capabilities with demos, docs, and a pilot.

Baseline Checklist

  • Define primary use cases and who will use the product day-to-day.
  • Validate end-to-end workflow fit (data in → decisions/actions → reporting).
  • Confirm integrations (ATS/HRIS, calendar, email, SSO) and data sync details.
  • Review permissions, audit logs, and governance for hiring-sensitive actions.
  • Measure impact with a pilot and agreed success metrics (speed, quality, experience).

Era Context

  • Expect agentic priorities: safe autonomy, human-in-the-loop controls, and strong auditability.
  • Use the tag checklists below to validate product-specific requirements for your stack.

Tag Checklists

AI

  • Separate AI-assisted suggestions from deterministic rules and document both paths.
  • Ask what data is used to produce outputs and whether your data is used for training.
  • Validate output quality on your own historical datasets with agreed success metrics.
  • Review bias, explainability, and compliance controls appropriate for hiring decisions.
  • Confirm admin controls for prompts, templates, and model behavior updates.

Automation

  • Map triggers, actions, and exceptions for each automation and document owners.
  • Confirm throttling, approvals, and guardrails for candidate-facing actions.
  • Verify audit trails and easy disable/rollback for problematic workflows.
  • Test edge cases (duplicates, reschedules, rejected candidates) end-to-end.

Sourcing

  • Validate search filters, enrichment accuracy, and deduplication with ATS/CRM.
  • Check outreach workflow integration and collaboration across recruiters.
  • Confirm data provenance, acceptable use, and regional compliance.
  • Measure quality of pipeline and conversion to interview/offer.

Agentic AI

  • Define which actions the system can take autonomously and which require approval.
  • Verify tool access boundaries and least-privilege permissions for connected systems.
  • Require audit logs for every action, prompt, and external call, with easy export.
  • Test failure modes, escalation paths, and safe rollback when automations misfire.
  • Confirm data retention, model updates, and how behavior changes are communicated.
